    Tift herself is quoted describing it as a B-25, although I agree it doesn't look that small when she plays it. The reissue I played was definitely smaller-bodied.

    No, the J50 was natural with a longer pickguard, apart from that it's a J45. see this link.

    Yes, 'Gruhn's Guide to Vintage Guitars' shows the B25N as having a 14 1/4" lower bout. The J45/50 is 16" across.

    There's no hole in the first one either, it's the shadow of the handwheel clamp on the mic stand.

    I still find it odd that the finish has worn away right up to the lower rear corner of the bridge, where it's protected from even the most heavy-handed strummer.

    Maybe it's been fitted with a new larger bridge? Or was maybe fitted with a smaller one for a while when the damage occurred and now has the correct size one back on?

    I am going to watch her again on Jools right now. Partly because she was awesome.
