What's this 12-string?

Someone gave me this 12-string at a gig last night (which is nice ). Anyone got any idea what it is?

The top's in a pretty bad state (see the soundhole pic) and it would need a neck reset if you ever wanted to play it above the 4th fret, but it actually sounds ok - time to learn some Leadbelly tunes!

Looks like something Japanese from the 1970s. They came under a variety of names, some of which were just importer's brands rather than factories.

Looks like you could drive a double-decker bus under the strings! Check for bracing come off the inside of the top, this is quite common on them and would explain the distorted top and high action.
