FS: 1984 Greco Les Paul (price drop - £495 shipped)
So this just arrived from the Land of the Rising Sun but I already have my eye on something else.
Last one in, first one out etc. It's really quite good so I'm sad to see it go but I know I just won't get around to playing with my mitts on another guitar.
Made in 1984 in the golden Fujigen factory of Japan. Light-weight (rougly 9.5lbs), chunky '59 neck and upgraded with Gibson Burstbucker 1 and 2 pickups. Most would call this a "plain-top" but there is a lot going on in there and the colour is dead on for Slash's AFD Les Paul. Comes with padded soft-case. Long tenon and original electronics. There are a few cuts and bruises, as would be expected for a guitar of this age, but notably there is laquer cracking at the edge of the heel and around the neck (both pictures). I do not consider this a neck break as it is not into the wood and the guitar holds tune when strung up at full tension.
Asking for £495 delivered in the UK. Slightly less is if collected from Swindon/Wiltshire area.
That is a hell of a lot of Les Paul for the money
