    Default vodafone pop up

Anyone else get a bloody annoying Vodafone banner up ad over the forums on Android? Any ideas how to get rid? I've scanned my apps and none of them are causing it. Pop up windows are blocked in Android.

    Same on iPhone too.

So annoying I'm going to tell people not to go with Vodaphone.

Only used my iphone to view the forum the other day for the first time since the forum 'upgrade' and noticed it...bloody annoying thing.

I had one just after the forum upgrade but it didn't come back after that. Nor have any others. Don't know if its a glitch or a one-off until you zap it.

What I'd actually like to know is, how many people actually see something like this interrupting what they're trying to do and think "oh cool, next time I need something like that I'll try ********", as opposed to "FUCK OFF!!! I'll never buy that as long as I live!"

Do advertisers genuinely believe the former outweighs the latter? Because all the evidence I've seen and heard is that the opposite is true - intrusive advertising is 100% counterproductive, to a fairly high degree of accuracy.
