Default Just heard Cry of Lve ror the first time - YEAH!

Just browsing through a mate's iPod and 'Highway Jones' by Cry of Love came on ...... Woooah! What an awesome track! Audley Freed is an awesome player - he has that dynamic sound that Bonamassa is missing. It's a pity the band didn't release more stuff.

Get the CoL CD's "Brother" and "Diamonds & Debris" for more of the same, ebay is probably the best source now. Great band & great player. I also have two fine bootlegs (some of this is on Youtube also). AF also plays with Govt Mule each year at the Xmas Jam, easy to spot from the monster vibrato!
Last time I did a search he was playing with Sheryl Crow this year and also this year played on Bonamassa's GF's album (Sandi Thom) produced by Rich Robinson.

The album Brother has the best songs but the second album Diamonds and Debris for me has nicer tones and playing on it.
Make sure you download his new band "Big Hat" EP there's some great solos on it

    Good recommendation

This track could have been on the fat strat tones thread:

Anyone know what amp he used?

Think he used a silver jubilee on the first album.

It's all over various forums about the 100w Marshall named "Ezekiel" that AF used on the CoL albums...check out this thread

99% of it is his chops though!
