Default FS: Seymour Duncan Slash Signature Alnico 2 Pro humbucker set SOLD

Decided to keep my (ex-Rich) Les Paul Standard for now because, well, it's fantastic. The pickups that were in it were these little beauties - the Slash Signature Alnico Pro 2 humbuckers.

They're the zebra finish versions (they look superb) with long legs and 2 conductor wiring. They sound bloody superb, easily the best pickups Duncan makes in my opinion - they're very much from the slightly-hot PAF stable, wound to just under 10k bridge and 9k neck, obviously A2 magnets.

Compare to the normal A2Ps, these seem slightly more aggressive and brighter, but still very smooth and vintage sounding - they seem a lot more 'alive'. Clean they're very sweet and round, and a proper old-school clean tone (Albatross-esque!) but slap on a bit of gain and they're fat and aggressive. These are surprisingly perfect for Zeppelin and Van Halen type sounds and would wake up most Gibsons happily.

I'm after £89 delivered for them - they're £140 new and haven't had much use at all so are in pristine condition with full lengths of wire.
