Default Lefty 97 MIK Squier in Lake Placid Blue.

To get a sense of the lovely and unusual colour check here:

This is unsual as most Squier strats get a Sunburst or the Sylvester-the-cat treatment (black with a white scratchplate). This is a non-aged LPB with a slightly darkened scratchplate.

This Cort made guitar shouldn't be this colour but the whole thing is legit. It's been painted a great colour in the factory by mistake, it seems.

It's all stock, and the neck is great a good C shape. The tuners are OEM but good - I decided against fitting sperzels to it.

I'm selling as I've replaced it with an MIJ strat.

    Comes with a Ritter gigbag.

Why am I tempted despite not really liking Strats and being of the northern paw persuasion..?

Yeah, definitely the colour - I've always wanted a LPB Jazzmaster, and I guess a lefty strat is as close as I'm likely to get.

Plus I can't resist fotos of guitar parts

Lol, and there I was just thinking to myself that I could do a reverse Voodoo strat and have a flipped body with the RW CV neck that I've got back in Plym

That was my first thought too... I really don't need another strat though!

Si, are we talking 'idle speculation' or 'actually thinking about it' ? I only ask because if you are thinking about it I could probably make use of the neck to sticl on the STD body I'm getting from you, pull the Ironstone pickups I've got out of the Charvel and put those in the Std, put the pickups & loom from this into the Charvel and then give that to my mate Marks boy Louis,

    Just a thought mind...

This is highly ironic, I'm a consumate tinkerer:

Suhr Classic Custom Strat (built to my specs ffs!) - tremel-no added, rewired.

1984 Strat - new body and trem, rewired put back to normal, rewired and screened, new nut, neck sanded .. toying with getting a Kahler.

2003 Squire Strat - neck bolts instead of screws, hlk, wilkinson trem, sperzel locking tuners, new nut, new scratchplate, varitone, bare knuckle mothers milks for a while...

MJT Tele - 5 way switch, CC Lollar pickup, BKP Country Boy, dual tone caps, 1m vol pot, 500k tone pot, electro socket - going to get a shaved lip plate possibly a hipshot b/g bender with drop d.

Tokai ES-120NL - Rewired, Seymour Duncan Jazz neck, triple shot, varitone switch, Creamery 59 bridge pickup, Nashville TOM

    getting the picture?

I get this guitar and I think. It needs nothing done to it, anything done to it is basically surplus. Since then I've had three people musing about modding the f*** out of it! the irony isn't lost on me
