Default My Sonuus Wahoo has arrived!

Only just got home and opened the parcel but a quick run through some of the presets tells me this is going to be a good wah/filter pedal. I certainly haven't had time to plug it in via USB and mess about with the filter parameters on the PC yet. The pedal has a lot of travel and the sweeps are nice and linear over the travel range.

£250 for a wah pedal? You must be Michael Schenker and I claim my fiver!

I pre-ordered so it was only £200. Less than a new Fullton Clyde or its variants.

    Wacka Wacka, it's got
Transparent-True-Bypass giving all the benefits of true-bypass without the switching noise.
So it that a buffered bypass or have they just added a high value pull down resistor to the audio path on the switch I wonder ?

I hope for the price it's nice, I have to admit I run a beat up Dunlop with loads of mods but I also enjoy using my Moog low pass filter with an expression pedal for the cazy stuff too. Combined probably cost about the same price but if you like it and you get the sounds you want then go for it !!

I'd imagine it must use a software driven bypass relay, as the switch just drives the software. Also, take the power off and the signal goes straight through - so it can't be buffered (OK it can when its powered but they'd need another relay to bypass the electronics on loss of power).

You can have the wah/filter starting when you press the pedal down, and you can then configure the footswitch to scroll through presets (via plugging in to the PC).
