Feedback is the number of repeats, from one to infinite (well infinite on certain settings, some have an upper limit).

You certainly see Flashbacks cropping up quite a lot. There was a few on there recently, some from guys moving up to the Flashback x4. Keep an eye out and you'll get one.

...and yes between the two I'd suggest the Flashback. Very verstile, the toneprint thing is a brilliant idea. I'm not that keen on the strum to tempo thing, I'd rather have a proper tap tempo, but of course you don't get any of that with the CC and it keeps the size down.

If your budget can stretch to it, and you have room on your board get the Flashback X4. It is a fantastic pedal and has a great looper.

This is probably the only pedal I'd happily pay more than 70 or 80 quid for. If only I had the money...But alas, my digidelay will have to do.

I'd go for the flashback regardless. The carbon copy is the best one trick pony there is, and probably still one of the finest pedals I've ever used, but it's not flexible enough for creative recording. Toneprints on the flashback are reason enough to pay the premium, anyway, and there will only be more and more of them.

Damn, I want to sell the digidelay and get one now...

I have both on my board.
the flashback is very versatile but for real analog delay sounds I always go to the CC. It sounds sooo good.
Both great pedals but just for different things.
I need special pills to live.
