Default Protecting your pedals from the drunk prople

How do you protect your pedals from the inevitable drunk guy spilling his pints / standing on them. Not a huge problem when there's a stage but when there isn't one what do you do? Have you built some kind of cover / shield?

There was a thread about this a while ago. I remember seeing a photo of a board with a massive plexi-glass screen (looked a bit silly really)...and others with a clear plastic sheet over the top.

Personally, if I'm playing somewhere where it looks like a big risk I tend to have my pedalboard sideways to me rather than right in front (can be a pain)...or firmly tucked in behind monitors to create a bit of a barrier.

I put a wedge monitor and a mic stand in front of it.

now the search facility has gone to crap I'm impressed you found those!

interesting to read that in Feb 2010 I didn't have a pedal board at all.

I assume you missed my "the search function is crap but there's a work around" thread then?

    Well
The headstock on my burny provide ample protection really,

The strat you have to pick your moment but the pointed corners on the burny plus a few cm of uncut string really hurts when twatted into someone's ribs

Nb - this will work with any les Paul type guitar. But is particularly effective with all the 80's hair metal guitars
