I have no opinion on him as a person (apparently he's a rather nice chap), and certainly didn't have him down as "that sort of guy" but I admit this did make me smirk - just found it so ironic.

EDIT: Also, am I wrong or does this particular investigation not necessarily have anything to do with paedophilia? When BBC Breaking News tweeted about it earlier it just said "sexual offences" or summat.
Tbh, while I don't know I'd guess it may be untrue. I mean... his line of work, he'd have to be pretty dumb to engage in that sort of thing, and I don't think he is. My parents both reckon it's bull as well...

It'd be interesting to know how many coppers are on the investigation team. Whilst there may be a case to answer, I can't help thinking that if it wasn't for Clifford's high profile, we might be able to have more police attempting to catch burglars and the like, which actually matters more to me.
