    Default Expensive restaurants

Was talking to a mate of mine earlier, he's Head Chef at an incredibly popular and reasonably expensive restaurant in Didsbury, an upscale area of Manchester, He told me that the food they serve is no better quality than the Two for a tenner deals at Wetherspoons, its just presented differently. The vast majority all arrives frozen and in bulk. Not exactly the revelation of the century but an interesting fact nonetheless.

I know several suppliers to what may be termed expensive restaurants round here, what they provide isn't frozen or in bulk.
None of you seem to understand; I'm not locked in here with you, you'll all locked in here with me.

Most of the Posh restaurants in Mayfair can tell you the Butcher and the Farmer that sourced their beef, lamb and pork. Mind yopu expensive does not equate to decent automatically. Langans Brasserie is ridiculously expensive. It is also shite.

I've eaten at relatively cheap restaurants that could tell you where all their produce came from, and they were excellent.

Then again, that was in France.
