Default Anyone got friends or rellies in the states. Dirt cheap Fulltone pedals

But only for USA sale by the looks of it. My calculations based on today's exchange rate show a V4 OCD will cost you just 72 quid

Anywhere in particular or just USA prices in general?

You might want to be a little cautious though - I picked up a Supa Trem on a trip to New York but didn't test the boxed version that came from stock.

When I got it home I realised it was not working.

The shop in NYC issued a replacement immediately but by the time I'd paid for insured postage to send the fucked-out-of-the-box version back to the States it would have been cheaper to just buy the damn thing from a UK dealer like Andertons where I could at least have gotten some support.

This was the first Fulltone pedal I'd bought as well, not a great first impression!!

Don't forget local sales tax that will need to be paid by someone buying it in the US. Can put the price up a lot. You don't pay this if you buy direct from the UK - but as you apparently can't in this instance, you will pay extra. And then you still have VAT and import duty to pay in the UK.

Oof - I'd try a Clyde at that price
    Red ones are better.

I bring stuff back from the states about once a year and always try the actual item I'm bringing home. Luckily I've never had any problems and you can get some serious bargains if you buy the right products. Last January I brought back an Egnater Tweaker 15 head, crybaby gcb95f and a hall of fame for less than I could buy the tweaker in the UK. In comparison when I was testing the egnater I had a tiny terror head to compare it to and it was 700 dollars (about £450)

They should really be declared at customs on the way back into the UK - at which point you would need to pay VAT and duty.

Which would negate a large chunk of the money I'd saved. I've never even seen a customs official at the desks while going through either Dublin or heathrow to get back to Belfast.

Then you must have gone through the green channel. You should have used the red one if you had goods to declare. Your as bad as Starbucks!
