    Default Chain question: Guvnor

Here's my current board which works well enough with my JVM:

Signal path goes bottom row Right to Left. (The delay and reverb are in the JVM loop).

Okay, tomorrow night I want to leave the JVM at home and use a Blackstar HT-20 as a make-louder-box and get my basic tone from a Marshall Guvnor pedal. This works well in rehearsal but there all I have is the Guvnor and a delay.

Where do you reckon the Guvnor would work best, start or end?

And I'll get rid of the DD-20 tomorrow night and just put a DD-7 at the end of the chain for delay.

I haven't got time to fiddle about tonight so just wondered where it should work best?

I'd put it after the RAT and before the delay.

i would use some patch leads to connect the pedals or you will notice a serious lack of volume.

To paraphrase someone, the clues in the question.

If you're happy with your sound with the JVM and the Guvnor is taking it's place - put the pedal wherever the amp is.
