    Default Tricky scale sequence

My daughter is learning Ding Dong Merrily for her violin lesson. I struggled to play the 'Gloria...' scale sequence at the target tempo of 80bpm semiquavers straight off, starting at the D on the 10th fret of the E string, key of G major. Took me a few goes. Ordinarily I'd expect to be able to play that kind of scale sequence at 120bpm, but this one is tricky!

Try a different fingering maybe? The two obvious ones would either start 10th 8th 7th on the 1st string, or
10th (1st string) 13th 12th (2nd string). Both should fall pretty easily under the fingers if sequencing is something you practice a lot.

Try playing it on one string (apart from the lowest d note) I've just done it at 120bpm on one string and it seemed easier.
