In conclusion to my longest thread yet.....
..... I've really taken to this guitar in the time I've had it, so having just sold my Fender Strat, I'll be keeping the New York and I have a few more upgrades in mind:
I have a set of locking Sperzels on their way and am hoping to replace the bridge P90 with a quality chrome/nickel covered humbucker. I'm also in the market for a case for it.

Potentially, this is still available for sale - although it now boasts an upgraded bridge pickup: a nickel covered Bare Knuckle Nailbomb. This not only looks great, but sounds great too!!! I should point out that the tuners are the original non locking Sperzels - the quest for a locking set didn't go anywhere.
£400 incl the aforementioned budget and oversized gigbag...
