    yeah i think the alder bodys on these early examples def seem to work better. maybe its just me.

    No the alder bodies do make the difference, I have Seymour Duncan jb's in my 91 ce24 and my goldtop and the goldtop sounds good but the prs sounds like its on fire

    been using this a bit recently and think I'm going to keep it as it sounds sweet as a nut... definitely not going to firesale it anymore anyways..

    I've been feeling the same about my CE22 too. I was interested in trading it but it's just too good. Why get rid of something so great?

    thanks, but no thanks, had a studio before and sold it when I got a tokai LC85 model.

    bump for saturday.

    cmon people these guitars are AMAZINGLY good. were i not a complete dufus when it comes to 24 frets, I'd be keeping this as its a fantastic guitar to play.
