    Default Deluxe Memory Man repairs

Ive had my DMM for about 5 years and recently its not been sounding as lush as my band mate's. I tested mine next to his and mine sounds like dog shit in comparison.

I sent it to EHX in the UK who very kindly tuned it up for the cost of return postage. I have compared it again and its still sounding nowhere near its best.

Does anyone know anywhere else i can send it to get it fixed?

I owned one for a short while and it sounded absolutely ace to start with but deteriorated rapidly. That combined with the lack of headroom was enough for me to give in. Shame. I don't know of anywhere to fix them, you would have thought that EHX would be able to get the best out of it though.

I had some of the op-amps swapped in mine, which improved the clarity, noise levels and headroom. Unfortunately I can't remember the exact link to the details - the analogman website is probably a good place to start.
Whosoever steppeth upon a distortion pedal in my sight shall make a sound that is unclean.

Looked into it after rehearsal tonight and looks like its the power cable that's faulty and that's causing the issue.

I need to come up with a solution to protect the cables on the underside of my board as I've managed to break that one in the space of 3 weeks gigs and rehearsals.
