Whirlwind Rochester Orange Box...basically a top notch re-issue of the Script Phase 90.

However my all time top phaser is the Red Witch Moon Phaser, I find that quite different to the Phase 90 though, great for Floydy spacey stuff.

Yeah! I agree price wise they are unbeatable. However, they just don't float my boat but I don't know why. Damn that sound in my head

Don't forget they've got two modes - the vintage mode is basically identical to the old Phase 90 with the script logo. Modern is more...well, just more of the effect, really.

Understandable if you're not a fan; personally, I think they're utterly unbeatable.

MXR 100 is pretty good for the price also. Thanks for the pointers

My favourite phaser is the MXR Phase100, but at the moment I am rather tempted by the Mooer ( I have a couple of their other pedals) to replace the really rather terrible Belcat I am using due to space restrictions on my board!

I've read that the tremonti can be hissy/noisy. Have you found this that's if you own one?

I've got a toneczar halophaze which is about the best money can buy if you can afford one, but i also picked up a malekko omicron phaser which is really good for the money, very rich sounding

I've been looking at phasers and wondered what you guys recommend? I really like the Mad Professor Little Orange Phaser. That is until I looked up their prices i.e. £250. Thats just silly IMO

What are your recommendations?

Boss PH-1R. Not PH-1, not PH-2, (definitely) not PH-3. PH-1R, best small-box phaser ever.

(The Mu-Tron Bi-Phase is the best phaser ever, but it's quite large, and good luck finding one for less than the price of a half-decent car these days.)

+1 to the Small Stone - nice and subtle with the toggle down, can get it almost vocal like an auto wah. Then glorious swoosh in the up position.
