I'm currently plotting something similar in the new year but a Jazzmaster - it seems to me that none of the Fenders currently made are *quite* what I want and so I am getting close to pushing the button on an MJT Jazzmaster body/neck combo in aged Burgandy Mist. Then a pair of Mojo pickups, a Mastery bridge, etc.
Basically a replica of this guitar...

This is going to be slow as its one coat every 24hrs. Here is tonights coat and some more hardware turned up in the post today as well!

The last part of my hardware turned up today from the US. Had to get a nickel bridge as no one in the UK seemed to have any in stock. Here is a quick update of colour and with a few bits of hardware on for idea of final look.
