I'm mixing for a functions band at the Marriot Hotel Portmouth. First outing with the Presonus remote mixing iPad app for me so should be interesting.
Well that was good. Only almost got everything covered in beer once and the BIG speaker tripod only almost got knocked over onto me once too. But a fun night, and our new dep drummer is Fucking Awesome (TM)

We got offered a couple, but both were for considerably lower fees than we have earned in previous years.
Added to the fact that the band (minus myself, as my day job got in the way) had an arduous residency throughout a large portion of December, the decision was made to give NYE a miss, which suited me fine..
....until I watched Jools' Hootenany, which was pretty shit this year.
