Gotta admit that the PRS SE Custom looks pretty cool and excellent VFM, but having had an offer to join a band, I'm going to sit on things for wee while and see what I actually need.

I know that's BS and GAS will decide but it just makes me feel good about saying it going into the new year .

Anyway, once again, thanks for taking the time to reply. I'm grateful for all your' suggestions and sooner or later I will use them when I make the decision which way to go.

...... there is no way in hell I am ever going to come to terms with a Lester and I ain't got PRS moolah, so I was thinking of converting my strat to a H-H config. I reckon with coil taps, it could be quite a versatile beast. I seem to remember Fender brought one out some years ago (Big Apple ?)

Does anyone have any experience of playing live with such an animal ?.
