    Default Happy NGD (to me!!)

Hmmm, these are sweet arnt they. Managed to get this 2006 model in nice used condition, bit o buckle and thats it. Apparantly these early models are a wee bit nicer than later models due to proper steel block, bridge and proper cs pickups - could be all geetar folklaw bullshyte. Iv had one before though and i cant really tell the difference if im totally honest one thing though is this feels loads loads lighter than my last one.

I was so close to pulling the trigger on a , wait for it ..... A Joe Satch guitar minus locking nut maddness and the floyde. Its the mahagony one with proper bridge and p90s - must admit im still bloody tempted.
    Anyway.....

Traded/bought/sold -Shugz, Stevethomas, ATW,Grunfeld, Dawar54, Smigeon, Raudskij, JHeaton, craig222, clecko, stickyfiddle, mattacjones, thomasw88, bignorm, the real pob(*2), cbellenga, tkeith, killingfloor, steven r, john from wigan(washburn 67pro) and music teacher from manchester (laney cab) and a holygrail reverb pedal, soz forgot sigs!! Thanks guys

IIRC there is a code on the bridge somewhere that will tell you if it's got a steel block, and you need to lift the scratchplate and see if Abigail Ybarra's signature is on the pups.

Yeah the last owner was on about that and reckons its all present and correct. It is a 2006 model.

Because they are better in every way? If it wasn't for the pointy headstock not being cool anymore Fender wouldn't sell any Strats.
