Hi. A friend of mine is trying to register but keeps getting redirected to home page.
Is this a fault that others have encountered?
What should he do please?

Make sure JavaScript blockers aren't enabled.

They suspended any new registrations when the upgrade happened...might still be that, but that was ages ago now so pretty ridiculous if that is still the case.

Yeh, it's still the post-"upgrade" bug. There are chaps on TGP who want to come and play but can't too

At the risk of upsetting the powers that be, that really is piss-poor. No avatars and poor search is one thing, but not being able to accept new members is not a bug, just a massive fail.

This really is crap. I recently directed someone here and they, like all potential newbies, is unable to register.

This supposed to be a feedback forum, but so far I've seen no evidence that anyone employed by MR actually reads this. I think I'll start a new topic.
