    Presuming you're talking to me...yes. I was hyper-fit in my early 20s, then had to stop everything due to a number of nasty sporting injuries and a car crash. Since then, I've always been in the 87kg - 91kg range, just in an ever-increasing state of disrepair

    This may not work as well then - Carbs are killer if youre trying to lose weight simply becasue people eat far too many of them, and the wrong sort.

    Also Ive already seen people 'fasting' for two days, forgetting about stuff theyve eaten (ie not actaully having fasted) and then go stupid thinking they can eat literally what they want for the other 5 days, and then wonder why they put more weight on - to do it you have to be totally truthfull and reduce calories to under 1000 for the two days.
    Don't let somebody elses world make yours unhappy...

    Regarding fasting diets, etc...

    Forget 'em. The simple thing you have to remember is this:

    Eat sensibly and in moderation and do regular exercise. The calories burnt off through exercise must exceed the calories taken on through eating. Do this and you will lose weight.

    Its that simple. Forget Atkins, forget fasting, forget any other diet plans. Stick to the above and you will get slimmer/fitter/more toned/etc. It will not happen overnight, it'll take months and months before you start to see a little bit of a difference, but eventually it will work.

    I did 6 inches and gained a stone............as with digi, when I was 'hyper fit' I carried a lot of muscle..........14 1/2 stone with a 32" waist.......no problem. Went to 38" at a tad over 15 1/2
    Now Im back to 35" and about 14 1/2 again......but a lot fatter than I was when I was fit

    I guess it all depends where you're starting from, skinny guys that gain inches will gain more weight.
