Amazing guitars, and built to last, too. Proof that poplar is a fine wood (just not as pretty as some), though the initial asking price was pretty high. I tried one out used last year for a grand, and it could justify it as much as any 1k guitar could. The strings are nice, like Ernie Balls are nice. But if you're used to coated strings, perhaps it's not such a great idea. The strings are not cheap, either, but Floyd's don't snap strings often really (if it's set up right).

It's also a potential investment. I hate regarding guitars as investments, but if that's your bag, I could see these being desirable in the future, so long as the strings continue to be manufactured. On the other hand, it doesn't say Fender or Gibson, so perhaps not...
