Nice to hear some decent guitar music on the menu and their drummist is ace.
Sounds good to me, though the drummer is the best thing in that clip and he's the only one not in the band!
I always find these BBC things odd, as if the Beeb have found these people from obscurity, when in fact they're all on major labels with mega-bucks marketing budgets.
But I'm not complaining about guitars in music coming back. Please let that be a thing!
It is a bit of a farce as they pick them not through insider knowledge, but based on which bands are going to have a huge marketing spend the next year.
When I lived in London and had more time to devote to music I'd often seen a band live a couple of times and been listening to them on XFM for 6 months before Radio 1 would claim to discover them.
Nice to see a girl soloing on an SG rather than the default girl guitar position of Telecaster bare chords.
