    Default Ipad GarageBand help, please...

I am very much liking playing with GarageBand on then ipad at the mo. However, is there a way of adding fx to instruments (other than reverb and echo)? I want to add some distortion to one of the drum loops but can't find any way of doing it?

Tried Googling but there wasn't anything out there (that I could see!)

    Ta muchly.

Could you output your drum track as an audiotrack, then feed it back in to a wet channel? I'm not sure if garageband lets you add post production effects to audiotracks.

    Cheers fellas.

It would appear that unfortunately you can't add fx to anything other than guitar stuff. Shame that.

Also, on the loops that are available, I've got things like Jazz drums 07 and then Jazz drums 13 - what's happened to the numbers inbetween? Are they all downloadable elsewhere?

Buy cubasis from steinberg.net. It has most of basis få, compressor, gate, fanger and more.

I think the rest of them are on the full mac version. If you use the iphone version of the app it is cut down even more than the ipad one (less synth models etc), but still perfectly useable. I'm hooked to both - I've got a tascam ixz which is compatible with both and is great for late night practice even if you aren't recording anything.
