Voodoo Lab Sparkle Drive. TS-style drive which can be blended with clean signal, which can be boosted, if required. Great sounding pedal.

the blues crab can, i'd say. it's a bluesbreaker clone, much more transparent than a ts type od. "spanky" is how i'd describe it, too (despite being a marshall pedal clone).

the blues mood or the rumble drive may well do it too but neither is really out yet and i haven't tried them yet.

a timmy would be worth a look too (judging by my dano clone).

    Properly brilliant pedal.

ooh i can't believe i forgot the mooer pure boost, it'd do it too (if you want something mooer).

heard really good things about the liquid sunshine, i haven't tried it, though.

Thanks guys and some good suggestions there. Boy, the Liquid Sunshine seems, err, a bit popular so that'll have to be top of my list and I'll try the Mooers too purely for their size and price.

As I said, I know the Pork Loin does what I want (had one and swapped it for an Xotic RC thinking it did the same thing but with a smaller footprint - it didn't). That for me is the pedal I need to compare it to.

As always, cheers for the helpful suggestions and keep them coming.
