I'd also say the Hotcake is very good, particularly with single coils, but it seems to like EL84 amps far more than anything else- it was a bit lacklustre with my Rivera

ah if the xotic rc didn't do it for you then skip the mooer pure boost as it's a clone of the rc (far as i'm aware). I've only tried the mooer so I have no idea how close it is, but I'm guessing it's gonna be at least fairly close if it is a clone.

If you don't mind paying a little more then I'd say try a zendrive.
I went through a lot of drive pedals over the last couple of years and the zen was my fave for light od.

    Same thing, no?

Seriously though. If you've got the money (and the patience) buy a Timmy, if not get the Dano or build your own clone.

Don't give Sean Michael your money.

Fulltone Fulldrive? - best of both worlds - clean boost, FM (Flat mids) transparent od and Mid Hump TS style if you need it and it stacks well with an OCD..

I have one in minty condish thats surplus to req's and I'm looking for a Keeley TS808.....

pm me if of any interest.
    I'm a pedal addict....

For some reason I'm getting on better with the OD11 than I did with the Tim and Timmy I owned. It also stacks great with my Lovepedal Kalamazoo, so Sean's all right in my book.

When I bought it I hadn't read any of the clone claims, and it doesn't really bother me at all. At least the tone controls work the right way round ;-)

The Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive is my favourite, although I've only had the Cool Cat transparent OD, Barber LTD and TS9 to compare it to in the world of light drive. Great for low gain lead lines and you can really dig in and increase the gain from pick attack.
Would love to try a Timmy or Liquid Sunshine.
