New year's resolution #2: To get better at guitar
Decided that 2013 is going to be the year when I really get to grips with the guitar, so I've booked my first lesson tonight with the local pro teacher. eeeeek
Tonight I will have a full understanding of just how crap at guitar I really am.

You play on a stage and women show you their boobs - you've already made it.
You might well get better at guitar but you've already made it. Enjoy the lesson

I sometimes dispair at how comparatively crap I am at guitar and then I realise that I play in front of people who jump up and down and cheer and then give me money.
No one has ever showed me their boobs though (bums yes however)
I am really properly crap at guitar but play in a band that gets people dancing and did once have 3 women at once flash me their boobs ( I've told this story before, we were supporting some exotic dancers at a tattoo convention and they flashed me from the side of the stage).
What was resolution #1?

I've got exercises to do, I've got techniques to brush up on, I've got ear training to do, I've got playing melodies on one string only stuff to do, etc etc etc ... If only I didn't have a Mrs and 2 kids at home.
