Andertons G3 Joy!
I went on Andertons today and saw a Zoom G3 advertised for £70 with no details and a message saying call for information.
So I phoned up about 2pm and asked for some information so I could buy it. The chap on the other end of the phone was helpful, but didn't know anything about it so he said he would get it brought up from the store room and ring me back.
By five I'd heard nothing so I rang back and he apologised and said he would get it sorted. He phoned me back at five past six and said it was mint, boxed, but second hand so I said I'd have it. By this time the tills had closed so he suggested I just buy it online, but some other bugger seems to have already bought it. I rang back, but by that time the store had shut.
To say I was pissed off is an understatement!

Sorry to hear that.
Given that Andertons are usually decent people to deal with and a new G3 costs £129, is it worth calling them and explaining what happened and seeing if they can "shave off their profit" and offer you one as close to the £70 or cost as possible?
It's worth a go.
I might ring them and see what they can do.

I contacted them on Thursday, the guy I spoke to said itt would need testing as it was in the warehouse - I got this email on Friday morning:
"Hi Mr xxxxx, you requested more information regarding the second hand Zoom G3 unit we are showing in stock. Unfortunately, we have been unable to locate the unit at either the store or our warehouse. My apologies for the inconvenience but as it stands i'm afraid we only have these units available brand new at £125. If you need any further information please contact us here at the store.
