    I do in a sense too. I love the looks of both styles, perhaps with the '51 just edging it, but I think they're different enough to love both. If I were to buy a P though, it would be the 'fully evolved' kind. At least it would be if I was spending decent money on it. I will get one of those blue Squier '51s and put an an anodised guard and covers on it some day though!

    Short of a Rick 4001/3, there is nothing I want more than a solid P-bass. Been playing a Jazz for years. I like it, but everytime I pick a Precision up I know it's what I really want. Alas, being a musician doesn't leave much money for musical instruments!
    If anyone ever has a Fender Highway One Precision body for sale, please let me know!
