It seems to be going well until Paolo Nutini loses his place in the tune.
Great clip - you can see the musicians looking at each other and muttering "f#cking singers..."

Louis Johnson - he's not bad at playing bass:

He's great. My skinny fingers would be knarled trying to do this stuff. With the right bank balance, I would get a decent Bass rig, but I'm a regular guitarist, so that comes first. One day maybe.

Paolo Nutini more like useless t**t , another song ruined by someone with no groove or soul whatsoever

He does it his own way but I don't think he could be accused of having no soul. Actually dig the way he improvs over guitar break making it build more.

Have to disagree on that , tuneless and toneless meandering that just detracts from the playing he has no groove whatsoever .

I like him, but he's extremely variable, probably dependent on the amount of alcohol consumed beforehand...

I've seen him perform when he was barely able to stand up - there was a Hogmanay TV show a few years back where he was really out of it too, he actually did fall over at one point I think - he really was very bad, but in an interesting way. I wouldn't want to see him like that all the time though.

Wampler Black 65. After all this time I really did not think I would add another pedal to my board. My tone is already good (Ampmaker PP18 is as stripped-down as it gets and does both AC30 and Marshall depending on the speaker). But I stuck it in the chain and lo! bigger, fatter cleans and rich Fendery OD, with a boost thrown in for good measure. Next stop, Tweed 57 - let me know if you have one for sale.

    I love that Danny too ! If I didn't already have a U2 I'd buy one.

She is really good. She deserves a lot more recognition. I checked if she had broke the top 40 in the UK, she hasn't , this I find a sad testimony to the tragic state of the charts and the general sheep populations "taste" in music.
