I've got one of his earlier CDs (it's got a version of Oh Well on it), great player but I really didn't like the singer he used then. Any idea if it's the same line-up these days?

Loving Tedeschi/Trucks since I got their joint record and some of her earlier solo ones.

Not a massive fan, and not wanting to start a Marmite war, how about some John Mayer ?

Already a big fan. Especially the trio stuff with Pino on bass.

I thought Kenny did his own vocals.

Checked the CD I've got (Live On) and Noah Hunt was the vocalist on that. That was from '99.

I'll check out some of his more recent stuff.

Ooh, just remembered Royal Southern Brotherhood - sort of southern rock meets blues. I saw them live last year and they were fantastic. The album has its moments.

    + 1 for Vintage Trouble.

Also like band called Rival Sons.
One of their tracks plays over a trailer for some wrestling with not ugly ladies!!

Whilst we're on the subject of modern blues players, I came across this guy as a recommendation on Amazon...Never heard of him before, and I can tell from the reviews on Amazon that he died last year...but anyone heard of him or know anything about him?
(For those who can't see the video, it's a chap called Michael Burks)

I know it's fairly standard Electric Blues in the clip - so maybe not "modern" strictly speaking, but I like this - and I like the sound of the Amazon reviewer's description "Gary Moore Meets BB King" too.

Anyone have any albums of his or any recommendations?
