SE GearFest Sat 2nd March 2013 (11am-5pm) - REMINDER/ NOW FULL/DIRECTIONS UP/!!
Hi everyone,
Following on from last Summer's successful and fun day, I've spoken to most of the attendees and we feel it's time for another one and to see if anyone new wishes to attend. For those not familiar with these events, we all show up with our gear, individually run through it and then others have the opportunity to try things, meet other forumites and talk GAS!! It's not a jam. This is done on a Saturday or Sunday, lasts 4-6hrs and a contribution is made towards the room rental.
The venue last year was the Palace Studio in Pease Pottage (details below) and we'd like to keep with this as the large room served our needs and seemed to be well-located for most (close to M25, Surrey, Hants, Sussex etc):-

From the M23 i.e. Driving south
Junction 11 signposted Horsham, Pease Pottage Services
Get in Left hand lane, Slip road splits into 4 stay left.
Go past the Car boot sale on left and entrance to services on Right.
Approx 200yrds after service entrance is a roundabout go right (3rd out)
Over motorway bridge into Pease Pottage, the road bears left the Black Swan is on the right.
Carry on through Pease Pottage after about half a mile you will pass M23 LAW on your Right.
Then after approx 200yards a crossroads Turn right into the entrance for Cottesmore School. It’s narrow and has speed bumps. Follow the road down. Past the swimming pool then you come to the school turn right towards Buchan Nursaries.
If you are coming north on the A23 Follow the signs for Pease Pottage services then as above.
One of the chaps wanting to attend this was instrumental in organising last year's one and is well-known to the forum for his witty, helpful, friendly and many contributions. As he's leaving the UK in April 2013, it would be really nice if we could hold this toward the end of Feb, early March so he can attend before his gear is shipped off. So, with that in mind, dates for consideration are 23/24 Feb, 2/3 March, 9th March - should we avoid half-term week (Mon 18th Feb - Sun 24th Feb) ??

AM start (10/11) or PM Start
What you intend to bring (optional).
To start things off, I'm fine for 2, 3 or 9th March (preferred date) and same with an AM or PM (closer to noon) start.
