Currently, just my Squier VM Mustang - £275!

I've had (much) more expensive guitars but this ones fun, sounds good, and I play it a fair bit, so that's all I need from it.

Usually I play them all. I noodle away whilst the misses watches the tele.

I usually have a good weekly rotation going on but since I bought my Jaguar the rotation has gone out of the window.

Still using my slightly modded MIM Strat as my main guitar above and over my PRS CU24 but I've had a Tom Anderson, a couple of Charvel Strats and an Ibanez semi during its' tenure and it's still top of the heap - cost me 200 smackers!

    What an interesting thread.

At the moment I am weighing up a feline lion but I'm trying to justify it to myself (I'm also saving for a wedding) and this thread does make me think should I just make do with what I have or spend a lot less. I'm absolutely sure that the feline would bet the best made guitar I've played and as it would be a custom it would look and feel just how I want but I've got a special spot for my Epi Sheraton, it feels like home. It's outlasted guitars costing much much more.

As for at home practise, I play through my iPhone or iPad so it's certainly the cheapest route for me.

I tend to play my most expensive guitar the most atm. My American Standard Strat. Possibly because it, and my Mustang amp just like each other.

With bass, it's the opposite-I mostly play my cheapest bass, the Schecter Stiletto. ( cheapest only because I bought it used for $250- all three cost roughly the same new)

Single item is my Groove Tubes ViPre tube microphone preamp.

Guitar-wise it would be the Forshage Orion Ergo.

Think we all do this question is why? I understand the amp bit but if your practicing a gig it makes most sense to use the instrument your going to play. I for one have been caught by learning something on a go to guitar then when trying to do it on the flash one struggled to repeat the performance

ATM my most frequently used axe is the 335 which would probably cost me the most to replace.
