Default Anyone ever used these jacks for patch cables?

Seem to be made by Neutrik but branded as Rean - seem cheap enough

    Anyone?

I've used the similar looking Neutrik ones. They are pretty big so wouldn't be good for aptch lead if your board is cramped. I bought Neutrik right angle jacks recently and they were differnt, all metal and lower profile.

The Reans are ok. Not as good as the Neutriks for all sorts of reasons, but a long way from being crap. They are a bit chunky though.

I just need a link to a decent honest right angle jack for bulk patch cable construction. Keep looking at the bullet slugs but 60 quid for enough bits to make 5 cables ! Dang, I need 12 at least !! What about these

They are mate but you will never have to buy them again. Been using the same ones for as long as I can remember. Whenever I need to I de solder then resolder onto new cable. Solid as a rock.

Those Rean ones are OK for long leads (though be careful not to stand on them or drop anything heavy on the plastic).

The metal oones are good, although you might find that if you have a local electronics supplier they'll be cheaper. I got a dozen for less than 20 quid- apparently over the dozen and the VAT comes off or something. They are still quite bulky though.
