New Mini Fuzz Face on the way?

That is so far beyond cool that actual practicality is irrelevant .


I think it might work quite well, too - the angled jacks might make it easier to fit into a confined space than yet another rectangular box with them on the sides...

And (did anybody mention this yet?)it has the sockets reversed compared to the big uns.

The originals were like that because Hendrix was left-handed, hence wired his pedals left to right (the opposite way to most of us).

Good spot, I asume it also runs on 9v power as there doesn't look like enough space for a battery, so together with the LED and the small size that makes it pretty much perfect in my book. Hope its hand-wired like the JFH1, then we're talking!

Except that he plugged the guitar into the wah first, which was the normal way round .

A lot of pedals back then were 'backwards' - the convention hadn't completely settled yet. Even some more modern ones are... the Mesa V-pedals for example. (I know this very well since it caused me a major DOH moment at a gig ages ago .)

My Zinky True Grit has 'backwards' sockets (and abysmal battery access - so much for bloody boutique overdrives...). Perhaps I should buy a full size Fuzz Face and start making up a backwards board.
