For sale is a Fredric Effects Unpleasant Companion. This version comes fitted with the BMP tone circuit which gives this pedal a wide range of tones. The condition is good with only very minor chips in the paint - couldn't photograph them.

This is a clone of the Shin-Ei FY-2 Companion Fuzz, modified with a volume boost circuit to avoid the volume drop characteristic of vintage units*. The Unpleasant Companion lives up to its name, and is a harsh transistor fuzz unlike any other!
The 'modified' or 'Really Unpleasant Companion' - which chucks out the Shin-Ei tone circuit and subsititues the more versatile tone control from the EH Big Muff.
