yes but certain types of people/drivers are attracted to certain types of car. Psychology.

there is such a thing as dangerously slow.

something I see very regularly, almost daily, is people in little cars who dont have a clue about how to join the motorway. they amble down the slip road at 30 to 40mph. then they think its safe to pull out in front of a lane of lorries doing 70mph at this speed. This is one of the most dangerous things you can do when driving in my opinion, but a lot of people seem to think its safe to join the motorway slowly like this.

its annoying for me because im usually stuck behind them on the slip road and then i cant get on the motorway safely myself.

in the past i have seen little cars on motorway slip roads, drive right the way to the end of the slip road slowly, then just stop and start indicating.

To be fair to Micra drivers there is an element of fear that creeps in when they start going fast. I had one as a courtesy car for a couple of weeks and it felt like a strong breeze could have sent me over the central reservation when I got up to speed on a dual carriageway.

As far as I can tell the most ignorant road users are cyclists and horse riders but I can't be bothered starting a new thread about it (and I'm fairly sure I'd get some stick from the forum cyclists if I did).

sorry, that accolade still lies firmly with BMWs - which is why, no matter how good cars they are, and what bad common sense it makes - I wont have one as a co. car.

Audis and BMW's, both as bad as each other in my experience, but I think the Audis are more popular thesedays with the "drive up the arse of the person in front and bully them into moving over" mob. as soon as i see those distinctive audi head-lights in my rear view i know im in for some bumper up the arse action.

    That's our family runabout!

Admittedly it's a 2nd-gen one from 2007, so not one of the old ones that falls over. Nice car.

So the Micra has taken over from the Metro? I used to say if there was a slow moving queue on a road with limited overtaking opportunities you could guarantee that by the time you got to the position behind the slowcoach, it was always a Metro being driven by an old man in a hat.

Do the old ones ever go fast enough to fall over?

I'm sure it's a nice car when you're inside it, but do you ever hear the sound of horns, or look in the mirror and wonder why everyone is following you?

But is it driven by a Nissan Micra driver? If you see what I mean.
