Default FS: modified 2003 Gibson Melody Maker TV Yellow, 2 x P90, TOM £350

An interest check, but think I will be selling this, as much as I like to own as many guitars as possible!

A 2003 'Gibson Les Paul Melody Maker' in TV yellow with a few mods. I believe they only made this model between 2003-2007 and it benefits from a proper tunomatic + stoptail bridge like a proper Lester, rather than most Melody Makers that have a wrap-over bridge. This one has been expertly routed out for a neck pick-up too, a neat little hole drilled between this and the brigge pup cavity and it wired through there. Usually this would just have tone, vol and jack on the front of the guitar, but because it now needed a switch, the jack has been neatly routed on the side towards the bottom feeding in towards the pots and a switch added on the front. So what you have is master tone/vol, 3 way switch, and a neck pick up (which is a Rio Grande Jazz Bar). So there you have it, basically a 2 x P90 Les Paul Junior! I was going to add a pickguard (they look great in one pup form with a junior pickguard) but this would now need a cut-out for the neck pup.

Anyway, I'll pop a quick pic up in a bit but will try to take some much better ones tomorrow. Looking for £350 for this if I decide to sell, not desperate but really trying to have a clear out and this was the 'last one in'. Not really interested in trades. Based in Croydon, Surrey/S London. Any Q's just gimme a shout. Cheers! Andrew

    Default bump for new pics...

deffo up for sale now @ £350. bit more info, made in Nashville in 2003, thin (nitro i think) finish so will naturally 'relic' nicely (see pics below), mahogany relative construction (i think) and looks like 2 pieces for the body, Gibson USA gigbag included, hardly any fret wear, couple very small dings in top, nice action... um... BUY IT!!!

ps how can i update the title of the thread with FOR SALE and add price? possible?
