Default F/S - 1996 Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro V24HH Elite falling maple leaves inlays

1996 Patrick Eggle Berlin Pro V24HH Elite falling maple leaves inlays

This is an absolutely stunning example of the top-of-the-range flagship model from the finest UK based guitar manufacturer from the last 20 years.

The guitar has been in storage by the previous owner for 10 years, and subsequently I have spent a lot of time cleaning it and setting it up....well worth the effort!

The body and neck are Brazilian Mahogony, the fingerboard is Ebony and there is a solid slab of flammed maple on top. It has Sperzel locking machineheads and a Wilkaloid nut.

The pickups are Seymour Duncans (59 in neck and Custom in Bridge). The three-way toggle allows for Gibson settings, but instead of a tone pot, it has a threeway rotary switch which allows coil tapping - all in all this is a versatile puppy which does Gibson to Fender in a click of a switch!

The trem is an original Wilkinson VS100 locking trem - when not in use it locks to a solid bridge. When the arm is put in use, the bridge becomes fully floating with upwards and downwards movement. This i set up and does not alter pitch when you move it out of place. Divebomb away as this guitars tunning is extremely stable.

The Elite option has the full compliment of abalone falling leaf inlays down the neck. It also has the all black back, green burst and gold hardware - there are not many of these guitars around and this is a rare gem that you will rarely see on eBay, so grab it while you can! Eggles from the golden era are creeping up in value too, so it will only be an investment.

There are a few minor nicks around the edge, but nothing too significant that detracts from the beauty. There is also a mark on the top by the volume control that you can see if you look really closely (it really is hard to see unless you catch it in the light). The only other area of note is that the bridge gold has flaked by the logo. This could be easily refinished, but I like it slightly worn.

Overall it is in fantastic condition and you won't regret ownership. Comes with Black/grey fur Hiscox Eggle case. Locals are welcome to try before buying!

Currently on Ebay, so grab a hefty Forumite discount at £SOLD + delivery (Cleared funds).
