    Default Just spotted some cracks!

I have a Breedlove Atlas AC25/SR Plus acoustic. Whilst playing it this evening I noticed two very thin cracks (could just be surface) on the top of the body...one just next to the bridge and one the other side of the bridge but just come from the top of it.

Could these just be nothing to worry about or is it potentially bad? I can't photograph it as they don't show up when I photograph them.

The guitar holds sentimental value so I hope it's nothing o worry about!!!

if they're small they're probably finish cracks..expecially if they're too small to photo...........however the fact that they're at the bridge would raise a small concern for me - ie recent string change and/or humidity changes etc.

Id wait for someone like ICBM - who's used to seeing these sort of things

It's a very common problem on Martins from the last few years (check out the unofficial Martin guitar forum for some details). Something to do with the bridge being fitted on top of the lacquer in such a way that the corners push down and start the crack. The general consensus is that it's nothing to worry about, just a cosmetic annoyance.

Of course, I have no idea if its the same sort of issue with your Breedlove, it just sounded very similar.
