Default So has anyone ordered a Hardwire Supernatural?...'cause I have!

I'm getting very tempted to place an order on PGS for one. A couple of well paid gigs coming up and I'll have the funds...plus I could sell on my Hall of Fame.

    So...anyone already gone for one?

Yep got one the other day along with a Blackout Effectors Seriously Special Twosome.

Took 3 weeks to arrive thanks to the lovely chaps in customs holding onto it for 2 of those weeks. Grrrrrrr!

It does sound rather lovely, everything from subtle to stupid.

I initially wanted it mainly for the Spring and plate settings but having had a fiddle with it over the last few day it sounds awesome on the other settings combined with the SSTS. Dialling it back to be quite subtle after the fuzz has resulted in the biggest, fattest fuzz tone I've ever had.

Most shockingly of all it actually sounds very much like the PGS demo sounds, obviously bar the quality of my playing

All in all I'm very impressed so far.

A couple have been recently sold on eBay from sellers in the UK - one went for £99.00. Keep your eyes peeled.

Didn't see that one, bargain price (just checked and the silly seller accepted a best offer, he would have got much more with a straight auction). One went for £128.21 plus £7.50 postage a couple of days ago....anyway that's all immaterial now as my credit card took a bashing at lunchtime

(so expect a Hall of Fame to appear in the classifieds in a couple of weeks time)

Besides Not_the_DJ I thought you were having a break from buying pedals in 2013...

Excellent. As soon as the Supernatural arrives I'll be listing the HofF. Got regular gigs over the next few weekends so can't be without a bit of 'verb.

    I'm dead excited!

Congrats, sounds like a great pedal.

I'm happy with my HOF for my needs but this Hardwire pedal definitely has a few sounds in it I've not found in the HOF. My HOF will do until someone releases a convolusion reverb pedal with a good edit function and ability to upload custom IRs. If Logic's Space Designer plugin (or other similar plugin) could be made into a pedal I would absolutely upgrade. I think I'll be waiting a long while for something like that to be cost effective though!

Yeah the Hall of Fame is fantastic, but it's really the shimmer and shine sounds I want (which involve and octave up effect)...which TC have said they can't do with the HoF (even as a future toneprint).

With the bands I just use a bit of subtle spring or plate, which the HoF does fantastcially, but the Hardwire will give me those plus the ambient soundscape stuff I want.
