    Default FS or FT Blackstar Artisan 15H / Zilla Fatboy 2 x 12 (G12H30 and V30) - NOW SOLD

Hi, I need to make some space at home so I'm looking to trade my head and 2 x 12 cab for a 1 x 12 combo.

For Sale or Trade: Blackstar Artisan 15H and Zilla Fatboy 2 x 12 with a G12H30 (70th ann.) and V30.

I'm looking for either a 1 or 2 channel combo amp. Things like Fender DRRI, Rivera, Mesa Express. Needs to have a great clean and a decent OD. What have you got?? Thanks.

PRICE DROP: £260 for the Zilla and £360 for the Artisan. Or £570 for both.

Here is a pic of the Artisan and Zilla.

Details on the amp and cab:
The Zilla can be open or closed back. Both in excellent condition. The Artisan is built like a tank and has JJ EL84s in the power stage and I have some EHX spares. The EF86 pre stage is either a NOS Brimar or Mullard. The 12AX7 side has some decent valves too. This amp has two independent channels that you can patch together and blend which sounds great! I wouldn't worry about it only been 15W - its really loud. I gig on channel 1 and have it set about 9 - 10 o clock on the volume. Once its warmed up it has a lovely open clean sound. Not sparkly fender, but not dirty. If you push the volume the dynamic response is incredible. The 5 watt power mode changes the sound more than it drops the volume. Much quicker breakup and a nice complex more compressed tone. Especially on the EF86 side.

I'm based in Huddersfield, Yorkshire. Can drive a couple of hours to meet half way etc.

Don't suppose you're interested in acoustic? I'm only in Bradford, too.

This is very similar to the set up I use live which is one of the best tone rigs I have ever had. But if you want a lighter combo which sounds as good, try the Ampmaker PP18. It's a bit like getting into a Ford after a BMW but the sound is just as good. The only thing is it does break up quite early, so a 5751 instead of a 12AX7 in V1 and/or V2 lowers the pre-amp volume and increases headroom.
