Did anyone go yesterday, and if so were there any nice jaguars or jazzmasters making it worth the trip?

Seemed to be busier and noisier than last year.Very pleased to see an actual band playing at one point and not just people widdling to backing tapes (although there was a bit of that - not that I mind it per se but after a while I start craving some singing).

Couple of stands with Mooer pedals, I don't think I had realised just how tiny they are. They are also doing a case for 5 of them, so you could have a full on pedal board that fits in your pocket (well, if you have fairly large pockets).Just need to add a 9v adapter as I understand it. Neat.

Didn't know you were going Phil, I'd have given you a shout!

I's just got back - sorry to those who I abandoned, neither me nor the better half had eaten all day so all-you-can-eat sushi became something of a priority! Achieved my acoustic objective too, a Vintage electro parlour has joined the collection

I was there today- man it was noisy.

Nice to see Clarky, Chris Jordan, Matt as well as Jaden Rose and Paul Zilla.

I went on Saturday, and was somewhat surprised not to see you at the Vintage stand

Did anybody else catch the frankly astonishing Matrix hybrid amp in their Soopah Sekrit Demo Room?

It was a last minute decision in the end. I was dragged around the camping and caravan show on saturday so the guitar show was my compensation.

Also worthy of mention, I thought...the Laney IRT Studio at the entrance was great fun, and Jaden's jaw-dropping wenge-top Original Series. I also broke my 7-string cherry with an embarrassing attempt to play one of his Tachyon 7s. Won't be doing that again.

I played something from pretty much every stand, and everything else was very much "meh". Biggest disappointment of the day was my first time playing a Patrick Eggle...aside from the disapproving looks I got from the middle-aged bluesers when I did a bit of widdly-widdly, it just didn't feel right at all. And to think, I've lusted after those things since I was about 15.

a guy who's name embarrassingly enough escapes me..
    and Alex Hutchings

met some nice new folk too...
one of which was the noise police.. [now there's a surprise]
