Default TC Hall of Fame question/help

I've only just noticed that the delay stops abbruptly when you turn the unit off, does any of the switched on the back allow you to make it fade out? maybe I need to get another delay for the other side ....

Take the back off and you'll see two little switches.

One turns 'trials' on (that's what they're called).

The other switch turns it to effect signal only (for use in parallel effect loops). I'm not sure which is which, it may be indicated on there, or do a google search.

Think I'm right in saying that if you have trails on the pedal acts as a buffer and with it off it is true bypass? That's how I understood it for my X4 anyway. Wether that's even noticeable or better or worse is another matter of course...

That's it. On the Flashback I used to have and the Hall of Fame I have now there really wasn't any difference between TB and buffered. Certainly on the reverb I like having trails especially if I'm using a big church setting gong to an abrupt stop sounds rubbish.
