    Default Horrid noise !!!

ok so last night whilest playing with my new band their sound engineer came along to the rehearsals.... He pointed out the horrible hum i was getting when engaging my suhr riot pedal and ep booster at the same time. The booster really warms the sound but i need the riot to reach the foo fighters sound/acdc/Buckcherry sounds!! what could this be??

    Bad patch leads?

    help needed

Well drive pedals do hum, generally, the more gain you have the more hum you get.

What guitar are you using? All distortion/boost pedals amplify pickup hum, and some guitars are much worse than others.... single-coils obviously, but also some humbuckers aren't totally quiet.

    Are you using a noisegate?

My MXR really helps, as did the boss I preiously used.
like Kirk Hammett, but more talent and less guitars
