    Default Jazz Bass Machine Heads

Years ago I dropped my Tokai Jazz Bass and bent one of the machine heads. It is now back in the right shape, however it is prone to slipping. Anyone got any ideas on stopping this from happening?
    Many thanks in advance.

    Buy a new one.

Unless you've actually damaged some of the teeth on the gear, it should be possible to dismantle it, straighten any bent parts and reassemble it as good as it was. They're not complicated things, and if everything is properly tight and the teeth can't 'jump', it will not slip.

If the teeth are damaged, new machinehead(s).

The teeth look okay so I'll have a fettle.
    Thanks.
